We are looking for a dynamic self-starting Fundraising Officer to play a pivotal role in the organisation. You will work to establish, maintain and develop the effective planning and delivery of a key part of the organisation’s fundraising work with a focus on trusts and foundations, high net worth individuals and some corporate fundraising. This will involve writing applications, reporting back to funders, maintaining and developing relationships with them, organsing events and seeking out new funding opportunities.

You will be starting out on your career, have a keen interest in fundraising and be able to demonstrate all the right attributes to be a successful fundraising officer. You will also have the ability and skill to produce excellent fundraising applications and be adept at managing external relationships with funders as well as working effectively with busy colleagues in our programmes and legal teams. We want a candidate who is happy to multi-task and is willing to work hard to achieve impressive results.
The Fundraising Officer will work closely with the Chief Executive and the other Directors on the Senior Management Team as well as being well connected to the whole staff team. They will have the chance to learn and develop new skills and lead exciting initiatives.
