Every day more and more children and young people find themselves in crisis and don't know where to turn. At Just for Kids Law we empower children and young people and stand up for their rights.
Just for Kids Law (JfKL) wants all children and young people in the UK to have their legal rights and entitlements respected and promoted, and their voices heard and valued. We exist to work with and for children and young people, to hold those with power to account and fight for wider reform. We do this by providing legal representation and advice, direct youth advocacy and support, strategic litigation, campaigning and equipping others to uphold the rights of children and young people.
Over the past four years, Just for Kids Law has increased its reach, grown in size and achieved strong financial sustainability. We are now looking for a CEO to consolidate this growth by supporting our passionate staff team and delivering sustainable growth that maximises our impact for children and young people. The new CEO will build close relationships with donors to secure additional corporate and philanthropic income, raise our profile and represent the organisation across a broad range of stakeholders, from partners to parliamentarians. Working with the Board and the leadership team, the CEO will offer support and development for our staff and embed a collaborative culture where all staff can thrive.
We are looking for a passionate, inclusive and emotionally aware leader that has a track record in developing organisations. With sound strategic experience and a creative approach, you will have reviewed and implemented growth strategies, including successfully diversifying and growing income and coaching and supporting staff to develop high-performing teams. With a strong understanding of the children and youth sector, you will have developed collaborative cultures and you will be experienced at representing an organisation to a variety of stakeholders, including at senior levels. Crucially you will have a passion for justice and holistic support for young people.
