Karolina joined JfKL from Irwin Mitchell Solicitors where she worked as a paralegal in the public law and human rights department. Prior to that, Karolina worked as a case lawyer at the European Court of Human Rights. She worked primarily on cases against Poland involving pre-trial detention and conditions of detention. During her time at the Court, she graduated from University of Strasbourg with a master’s degree in Human Rights and Humanitarian Law, focusing her research on the law of armed conflict and the work of the International Criminal Court. As a law student in London, Karolina volunteered for Bail for Immigration Detainees and North Kensington Law Centre. She now works as a Solicitor in JfKL's Crime Team.
