Sabrina Simpson

Education Solicitor

Sabrina joined Just for Kids Law as an Education Solicitor in August 2021.

Sabrina became a solicitor in 2005 and has had a very diverse career in law, which has included her working in the USA where she qualified as a New York Attorney. Throughout her career, Sabrina has been committed to supporting charities and children’s rights.

Sabrina has personally had the experience of supporting her child with Autism to gain an Education and Health Care Plan (EHCP) and understands from a parent’s perspective how emotional and challenging it can be to gain the right support for your child at school. This experience made Sabrina passionate to become an education solicitor and support children and young people to achieve their full potential. Sabrina is also a mentor, as she believes in inspiring the future generation to “Dream Big” and have high aspirations.

As an Education Solicitor at Just for Kid’s Law, Sabrina is in the role she feels called to. She is dedicated to challenging the structural inequalities in school exclusions and supporting the reduction of serious youth violence. Her role includes providing legal advice in school exclusions, supporting children and young people with special educational needs to obtain support, supervising the School Exclusions Hub and training professionals and community organisations to challenge school exclusions.

In her spare time, Sabrina enjoys baking; her speciality is a Jamaican Fruit cake - a tradition passed down to her by her grandmother.
